"An investment in knowledge pays the best interest." Benjamin Franklin
Kindergarten is becoming more and more rigorous each year. Students need to be able to sit still on the carpet for learning time, know their letters, sounds, numbers, colors, shapes, social skills, follow directions, and much more on day one. While there are many benefits to children staying home with family when they are young, there are potential gaps in learning. Without the experience of a school setting, it is easy for children to fall behind.
That’s where Little Learners Papillion comes in. We will help your child practice these necessary skills to prepare them for their elementary education. And have some fun along the way!
1️⃣We bridge the gap between home and school when it comes to academic, social, emotional and the structure of a school setting.
2️⃣We provide part-time care solutions for families who don’t require full time care (or full time pricing).
3️⃣We offer continued education and long-term relationships through tutoring and playgroups.

The lead teacher, Ms. Amanda, graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a BA in Elementary Education and an emphasis in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). She has also completed further education in the areas of the Science of Reading and Behavior Management.
While Ms. Amanda attended UNO, she worked at the UNO Childcare Center. She worked with children from the ages of toddler to preschool as a teaching assistant. After she graduated, Ms. Amanda taught fifth grade for one year, then three years of first grade in Papillion La Vista Community Schools.
Ms. Amanda enjoys painting, singing in the shower, and scrolling through Instagram for creative ideas. Ms. Amanda and her husband, Mr. Dave, have a two-year-old and love to explore and learn with him. Her little family is obsessed with their two cats, whom you may see roaming around during learning time. They even support a local cat shelter, Felius Cat Café.

What is your cancellation policy?
Membership is based on enrollment, not on attendance. LLP does not require an enrollment fee, so your payment/selection of days hold your spot.
Keep in mind that teaching requires a lot of planning and preparation. In addition, you are holding a spot that another family could use.
That being said, if you signed up for the daily rate and need to cancel, you may do so if you give at least one week's notice. This will give other families time to claim your cancelled spot. Thank you for understanding!
What ages do you accept?
For Preschool, we are currently accepting students ages 18 months - 5 years.
For tutoring, we accept up to fifth grade.
